Here’s what Eytan has been up to lately! On 4-29-12, he was a guest performer with the Greenwich Village Orchestra! This was a community concert event hosted by Arts for Healing, which is a nonprofit, creative arts therapy program, directed by Eytan’s fabulous music therapist, Karen Nisenson! If you live near New Canaan, Connecticut, definitely check it out.
And, tomorrow, 5/3/12, Eytan will be playing piano at the opening of a new autism center at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT. There will be a dedication for the “EytanArt Entranceway” of the Autism Center which has 5 of Eytan’s posters and a plaque about Eytan. If people would like to see Eytan’s artwork they can visit www.EytanArt.com/posters.
Eytan is a young man with autism who has a lot of musical and artistic talent. By combining Eytan’s art with meaningful messages, we hope to raise awareness about accepting those who are different, appreciating what we all have in common and doing what we can to make a positive difference in the world.
Eytan is the inspiration and artist behind EytanArt, and Susan, his mom, is the founder, organizer and his lifelong advocate. Susan’s background as a mom of 3, a social worker and a wellness consultant all come together in her efforts to make a difference in people’s lives through the products (shirts, bags, posters, cards). The messages paired with Eytan’s drawings and the blog articles she has written and posted on the blog at www.EytanArt.com.
