CJ Shiloh is soooo proud of her student, Connor Skalitzky! On Autism Awareness (and Acceptance! :^) Day, April 2nd, (and also Connor’s birthday!), Connor had the opportunity to give a speech to hundreds of middle-schoolers about what it’s like to have autism. He is so good at speaking in front of a crowd…you’d never know he’s only in 5th grade!
It’s so great how Connor is able to share with his peers that if they look past the quirky behaviors common to autism, there is a kid behind it, just like them….
He does such a stellar cool job performing in Sensory-Friendly Concerts too!
Right now Connor and Ms.CJ are composing some awesome music on the Musical Autist Academy iPad. We look forward to sharing our first GarageBand music composition with you all!
