We are pleased to announce two Sensory Friendly Concerts coming up!
March 15th in Kansas City (you can view the flyer here). Big shout out to the Kansas City Metro Music Therapists and the Kansas City Alumnae chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota! Performers and volunteers come from both groups, including students from three area universities. What a great way to combine forces to make great music more accessible in the Kansas City Metro community!
April 12th in Millersville, Maryland (flyer coming soon!) from our very own Rob Levit, world-renowned jazz guitarist and founding director of Creating Communities, our generous sponsor of all Maryland Sensory Friendly Concerts.
And now for the extra piece of exciting news – The Musical Autist has brought on a Director of Programming – Lyndie Walker, MT-BC!! Check out Lyndie’s bio on the Community Music Therapy Team page. We are so grateful to have an experienced grant writer on our team, who has the capability and passion necessary to help us to continue organizing even more Sensory Friendly Concerts around the country!
