One. Opening and closing song: this particular Junior Jam is going to have an opening and closing song to indicate when the jam session begins and ends.
Two. Dance party: I am going to be using a playlist with some songs for a dance party. Also, the Junior Jam participants have the option of playing the song live.
Three. Stretch break: after the dance party, we will take a 10 minute stretch break so we can relax our muscles and rest. This is important especially if the music we are playing during the dance party is upbeat and has a lot of energy.
Four. Song menu: we will present a song list so that we can sing along together during the Junior Jam. The songs include kids songs and camp songs.
Five. Structure: the entirety of this Junior Jam will be based on a structured schedule. This is particularly important for little kids so that they know the order of activities.
These are things you can expect at our first Junior Jam session. This will take place on Saturday September 29 from 3:30 to 4:30 at Maryland Hall in Room 200.
Please come ready to participate and have lots of fun! Learn more here.
