What is a "Musical Autist?"

A musical autist is anyone on the autism spectrum who likes music. It’s that simple! You do not have to be a savant, you do not have to have perfect pitch, and you do not have to know how to play an instrument. We love and celebrate autistic people who have musical gifts, but we’re not here to sensationalize autistic musical giftedness.

  • We’re here to respect and accommodate autism in our society.

  • We’re here to create spaces for musical autists to thrive.
