Okay so,
Are there actually listening “rules” to jazz, and if so, are they a secret? I mean really. Sometimes you’re supposed to clap after every solo, but then in a concert like the one you’re listening to right now (since you hopefully clicked-play-to-start) everybody knows not to clap until the end.
If you like jazz, you know there are many social rules about clapping – goshman, must be like a secret hand shake or something!
Well Ms.CJ says,
“If you love good, rich, soul-feeding music, whether it be jazz or anything else – if you love music……than jump around if ya have to! Clap whenever ya want, whenever the music moves you. Perhaps people on the spectrum have had it right all along…”
Join us. Saturday, May 14th!!

Hand flapping, rocking and bouncing is welcome and encouraged!!
